Shipping Policy for Backup Buddy

Overview

Backup Buddy is committed to providing reliable and transparent shipping services for our customers in accordance with Australian Consumer Law as set out in Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth). This Shipping Policy outlines our processes for shipping physical products purchased through our platform.

Shipping Locations

We currently ship to addresses within Australia. International shipping is not available at this time.

Shipping Costs

  • Standard Shipping: Costs are calculated at checkout based on the weight, dimensions, and destination of the order.

  • Free Shipping: Free standard shipping may be offered on orders over a specified amount, as indicated at checkout.

  • Transparency: All shipping costs will be clearly displayed before you confirm your purchase, in compliance with Australian Consumer Law.

Processing and Delivery Times

  • Order Processing: Orders are typically processed within 1-2 business days from the date of purchase, excluding weekends and public holidays in New South Wales.

  • Delivery Time: Standard shipping within Australia typically takes 3-7 business days, depending on the destination. Remote or regional areas may take longer.

  • Consumer Guarantees: Under Australian Consumer Law, we ensure that deliveries are made within a reasonable time. Delays beyond our control (e.g., postal service issues) will be communicated promptly.

Shipping Methods

We partner with reputable carriers such as Australia Post and select courier services to ensure reliable delivery. You will receive a tracking number via email once your order has shipped.

Incorrect or Incomplete Shipping Information

  • You are responsible for providing accurate shipping details at checkout. Backup Buddy is not liable for delays or non-delivery due to incorrect or incomplete address information.

  • If an order is returned due to an incorrect address, you may be responsible for additional shipping costs to resend the order.

Damaged, Lost, or Incorrect Deliveries

  • Damaged or Defective Items: If your order arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 7 days of receipt at enquiries@backupbuddy.com.au. We will arrange a replacement or refund, including any shipping costs, as required by Australian Consumer Law.

  • Incorrect Items: If you receive an incorrect item, contact us within 7 days, and we will provide a prepaid return label and send the correct item at no additional cost.

  • Lost Shipments: If your order is lost in transit, we will investigate with the carrier and provide a replacement or refund as per Australian Consumer Law.

Non-Deliverable Orders

If an order is returned to us due to non-delivery (e.g., unclaimed or refused packages), we will contact you to arrange reshipment. Additional shipping fees may apply unless the non-delivery was due to our error.
